8/26/12: This is a critical anti-choice bill in the Michigan legislature that must be stopped. Please not only sign the petition, but send a call or email to the representatives there (especially if you are a Michigan resident) and tell them to vote NO. Remember that 9/10 of the experts who testified on this bill were strongly opposed to it (that last one was the head of an anti-choice group, of course).

8/21/12: In light of the recent comments by Missouri Senate candidate and member of the House Science and Technology Committee Todd Akin, please consider donating to the campaign of his opponent, Claire McCaskill. Even after the whole "legitimate rape does not cause pregnancy" controversy, McCaskill is down one point in the polls. Give one dollar or one hundred, anything you can spare, to tell Mr. Akin that NO MEANS NO for rape and misogynistic lunacy in government.

8/17/12: Tomorrow (Saturday, August 18th) is the We Are Woman march and rally in DC. I will be attending and posting about the event and would love to see as many people (men and women) come as possible. We are pushing for an Equal Rights Amendment, something so long overdue it's absurd. Please come and support all the women in your life who deserve to be seen as equal by the law.
